Be Humble

This week was great!
We are our pensionista’s kids and they are so amazing and humble. That’s the best part of teaching Bolivians is that they are so humble and God is their first priority. Some people don’t have food, they don’t have money, they don’t have beds, but they come to church because they know that putting God first will be the best outcome for everything.

Yaneth and Luis were married and then baptized!! It was amazing and so beautiful. At her baptism, she said reading the scriptures and learning about the gospel changed my life. And her husband said when my children were born I knew I had to be in this church. Yaneth is so so amazing and has such a strong testimony, the baptismal service was so beautiful.

Yaneth and Luis have a motorcycle shop and their friends came to the wedding, it was great.

Also, we went to visit the hermanas that live in Tupiza! Tupiza is this tiny little town that I don’t know how to explain but we had to travel like 9 hours to go visit them haha but it was so great. I love it so much they have moto-taxis and it’s the best. It was so much fun to go work in that area.

Division in Tupiza with Hermana Saari, we worked very hard and contacted 7 new people in one day.

The biggest family I have ever taught the Sanchez Family.

Disciple of Christ!!

This was a good week! Family Daza was baptized! They were waiting for so long and they finally did it! I love this gospel because it truly changes people and helps them in their families.

This week I learned a lot about people. I learned that Heavenly Father cares so much about our needs individually and that he really just wants us to come back home and His success is our success and I learned that as a leader I need to really mirror that.

This week was a little crazy cause a missionary got sick in our zone and we had to be in the hospital very early to take care of her and I really just felt so strongly that her and her companions success this week was going to be my success too so we helped them so much by doing exchanges and other stuff. And I think I realized how awesome it is to serve everyone.

This week at church Luis brought all his siblings to church alone so proud of him. He is becoming more converted every day.

When Emiliano and Angela (Family Daza) were baptized I just felt like my purpose as a missionary and disciple of Christ is to make people happy, not just here but the life to come. I love this gospel and I am so grateful for a loving merciful Father in Heaven.

Conversion

HOLLAAA

Luis was baptized last week!!!  Even though I mentioned last week it was an amazing experience that I want to share more about it!! Wow it was such a beautiful beautiful moment because Luis is a REAL convert. He is so converted to the gospel.  He brought his cousin to the baptism and now she is receiving us in her house and Luis shares everything with her. After Luis was baptized he said: "I liked being baptized. I feel clean". So simple but so true, God wants us to feel clean to be happy. Luis worked soo hard to be baptized and he finally accomplished it and Juan Pablo a recent convert of a few months baptized him!

Also we have a new mission president and he is so intelligent, he was baptized at 25 and he has so much knowledge of the gospel. He is teaching us how to study the scriptures and he taught us that we should devote our misisons to giving others an opportunity. That's it. We are just here to give an opportunity to people so they can hear the gospel.

We pension with a recent convert family and they are just prime examples of member missionaries. They've invited so many of their family to church and have had about 5 attend. At Luis's baptism it was also full of their family members. One day they were driving to church and our church is kind of next to a stadium and there was a big soccer game going on and there were people lined up outside to be let in and they happened to see their cousin Christian out there and they pulled over and said Christian do you want to go to church? and he said yeah sure and he literally came to church and loved it. Sometimes we dont even let people have an opportunity before they reject us!
